Here’s what’s happening:

Fares are increasing for all SF Bay Ferry routes effective July 1, 2026. SF Bay Ferry will continue to offer its 50% discounts for youth, senior, disabled or Clipper START passengers on regular service. Current fares will remain in effect through June 30, 2026.

Show off your trivia knowledge onboard the Richmond and Vallejo ferry routes on Friday, May 22nd! Enjoy views, clues, and exclusive giveaways for those who play. Winning teams from each round will receive an exclusive ferry prize pack.

Enjoy free live entertainment onboard the Richmond ferry route! Tides and Tunes performances will occur every final Friday of the month from May through October 2026. Groove to performances across multiple genres, including R&B, jazz, and classical music.

On Saturday, June 6, free ferry shuttle service between Vallejo and Mare Island will be provided for Pista Sa Nayon attendees. Join a celebration of Filipino heritage, community, and unity. Service between Downtown San Francisco and Vallejo is subject to normal ticket fares. All service is first come, first served.

SF Bay Ferry beat its all-time April ridership record, registering better than 100% recovery for the fifth consecutive month. The agency carried 285,886 passengers in April. The previous high-water mark for SF Bay Ferry ridership in April was 274,361 passengers in 2019.

Rosanne Foust, President and CEO of the San Mateo County Economic Development Association, has been appointed by California Assembly Speaker Robert Rivas to serve on the San Francisco Bay Ferry Board of Directors. Ms. Foust joined the board at its May 14 meeting.
